It's never been better to to show your Pride –– all of it.
In 2017, Philadelphia displayed a bold, new pride flag: a version with Black and brown stripes, adding a new dimension to our flag beyond sexual and gender identity. For many this flag was a hint that unity within our community was possible and we could work toward a day where we could begin to do the work to put racism behind us.
This design builds upon that history with a fresh boldness emerging from a westerly wind, implying motion toward a future. The future is yours, if you want it –– but only if we walk the path informed by the experience of the trans and gender nonconforming Black and brown members of our community. This design was originally made by Daniel Quasar.
